🤍 Founder's Note

I have always known that Blessington was home, I just never imagined I would be the one entrusted with creating a space like Gather & Glow for the community.
It is, and continues to be, a true honour to be here each day, meeting such inspiring people and sharing in something so special together.

I believe deeply in the changing times we are living in and feel incredibly grateful, welcomed, and settled in this vision, a place built on connection, creativity, and wellbeing, right here in the heart of Blessington.

FROM THE BEGINNING TO NOW
 

2023 - THE IDEA IS BORN

October 2023. I have just returned from the deep jungle of Peru, my heart is wide open, feeling this land and hearing all that is being called in. Seeing with new eyes the gaps & needs in my community. What is it I am being called into I wonder? 
 

2023 - DIFFICULT BEGINNINGS

December 2023. Myself and then partner managed to secure the lease on the premises here in Blessington, and we opened the doors, The Homestore.ie was born on December 1st. A broken leg, a lot of emotional & mental stress but we made it, so we thought. I never knew what was to come. The actual real work and navigation of this new existence, both personally and in community also. The exact meaning of the word 'COMMUNITY' was birthing right in front of me. 
 

2024 - THERE IS NO RETURN

December 2024. After a very difficult year a lot of stress, financial struggles and personal ones too, the egg cracked wide open and the business that was started by 2 became lead by 1. It's now just me.  Post Christmas day 2024 after a deep sickness, I knew the egg was once to split again, in fact smash into pieces,  but this time I wasn't just a single owner of a business I was now a single man full stop.  A beautiful journey had completely come to an end. One I will be forever grateful for 🤍.

2025 - REBIRTH

January 2025 After the tears, rage and sadness had left my body, I sat in the shop and was ready to say goodbye to it too, It had taken all from me, Love, Financial stability, Mental & Physical health and my time. ''What Do You Want From Me'' I screamed in the shop sitting on the floor, Then I felt something, I knew then I had gone the whole wrong way about this. This isn't any normal business or bricks and mortar, this business knows what it is! I just did not know how to listen to it and see what it was trying to show me along the way...... The new way was clear, Gathering & Glowing... The images poured in and the support followed. Gather & Glow was born to be it's own energetic being. I am simply the guardian of this space now and find it beautiful to see it Grow & Glow every day as I listen, learn and assist. We have gone from 1,500 square feet to over 7,000 square feet in the latest expansion. The time is NOW! The future is looking brighter, the hard day's still come but I have a better idea of what this magical place is up to.
